The National Order of Judicial Officers of Hungary has become aware that unknown individuals are impersonating Dr. László Sebestyén, Independent Judicial Officer (Badge No. 0207), by sending electronic mail (e-mails) to private individuals and requesting the payment of money on various purported legal grounds.

Please be advised that such e-mails do not originate from the judicial officer and constitute unauthorized and fraudulent communications.

We kindly request that you contact the judicial officer exclusively through the official contact details published in the Register of Judicial Officers maintained by the National Order of Judicial Officers of Hungary, and that you request information or initiate any administrative procedure only through those official contact channels.

If you receive an e-mail from an unknown e-mail address requesting payment in the name of the judicial officer, please do not reply to the message and do not transfer or pay any amount on the basis of such communication.

Please also note that independent judicial officers do not communicate requests for financial performance or payment obligations by e-mail. E-mail does not constitute an official or legally effective means of service in judicial enforcement proceedings.

We ask you to exercise particular caution in all cases and, if you have any doubts, to contact the relevant judicial officer’s office using the official contact details published on the website of the National Order of Judicial Officers of Hungary.
